For The Tipping Point, a consultancy based in Mechelen focused on personal development and leadership, a new workspace was designed around open work areas and places for interaction.
Throughout the different zones, Socrete was selected, a mineral resin floor with a subtly trowelled finish. The floor creates a calm foundation that connects the various areas while adding enough character to support the space visually. The April Sky shade gives the floor a soft grey tone that complements the light interior, the wood elements and the darker accents in the custom furniture. The surface captures light from the circular skylights and fixtures in a subtle way, allowing the material’s nuances to remain visible without becoming dominant.
Within a compact office layout, flooring plays an essential role in how the space is perceived. The seamless Socrete floor allows circulation areas, coffee corners and workspaces to flow into one another. This keeps the interior clear and balanced, providing a calm base for an environment centred around interaction, movement and collaboration.
The result is a workplace where material and space reinforce each other. The mineral resin floor supports the atmosphere of the office: clear, accessible and designed for interaction.
