Minimalistische badkamer met inloopdouche grijze Socrete gietvloer

For this newly built residence in Wambeek, architect Pascal Francois designed bathrooms where calm, material and light take centre stage. In these spaces, Socrete was chosen, a mineral resin floor applied both on the floor and the walls. The seamless surface creates a tranquil base in which the different elements of the bathroom can fully express themselves.

Because Socrete is water-resistant and non-porous, the material can be applied continuously in wet areas such as the shower. The surface reveals soft variations that give the material a natural depth, allowing light to interact differently with the walls and floor throughout the day.

In these bathrooms, Socrete was used in colour 59 Perfect Pavement, a deep and nuanced tone that gives the space a calm and balanced appearance. Combined with natural stone basins, dark taps and minimalist mirrors, the result is a refined material palette where every element is carefully considered.

Applying Socrete on both floor and wall allows the bathrooms to be read as one continuous space. The transitions between shower, floor and wall remain discreet, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the material and the architecture of the space.
